Year-long Bible Study

January 1 - December 31

JOIN HERE!   Daily Scripture Schedule

Beginning Sunday, January 2, 2022 the Stone Memorial Christian Church will read through the entire Bible together. We will devote the entire year 2022 to searching the Scriptures to know the Truth! Our approach will be multifaceted and will be a challenge to everyone but will be worth every effort that we put into it! Here are the details:

1. We will ask every SMCC family member to join us in a daily Bible reading plan starting January 1, 2022. Tim Wood will be leading a YouVersion Bible daily reading series. If you would rather participate as an individual there will be printed Bible reading schedules available for you to follow along with those using the YouVersion app. The schedule can also be seen here.

2. On Sunday, January 2 the entire SMCC family will be reading up to six chapters each beginning at 10:00 AM. (Each participant will have their own section they will be re sponsible for reading) By 10:30 AM the family at SMCC will have collectively read through the entire Bible before we begin our first congregational worship of 2022!

3. Each Sunday our messages will be going in the order of our Bible, starting with Genesis and ending with Revelation. We will STRONGLY encourage all in person worshippers to put away their cell phones and tablets during our gathering times. We realize that this might be difficult to comply with but, it will be important to not have the temptation of the electronic device being used for shopping and or social media scrolling during our worship gathering. It is important that you bring a physical copy of The Bible with you to our gatherings. If you don’t have a Bible one will be provided for you.

4. Each Wednesday evening gathering the message will be expounding on what Scripture that we used on the previous Sunday morning.
