Adult Mid-Week Gathering: Wednesday, 7:00 pm in the Multi-purpose Room.
LOOKING AHEAD
Elder Meeting: The meeting will be Sunday, January 23, at 3 pm.
Deacon Meeting: The meeting will be Monday, January 24, at 6:30 pm.
Board Meeting: The meeting will be Monday, January 24, at 7 pm.
Church Office: The church office will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 17.
Silver Stone Seniors: Thursday, January 20th, the group will meet in the midpoint room at 11:30 am. After the meeting lunch will be at Pacific Bay Steak & Seafood in Collinsville. See the sign-up sheet will be on the bulletin board.
Baby Shower: Everyone is invited to attend the floating baby shower honoring Tabatha and Brandon Miller on Saturday, January 22nd, from 2—4 pm. The shower will be in the midpoint room.
Bell Practice: The adult bell choir will practice Sunday, January 23rd at 4:00 pm.
Women Chocolate Extravaganza: Attention all Ladies! Do you like chocolate? Join us Friday, February 4 starting at 7 pm for dinner, fellowship, devotion, and all things chocolate. Bring 12 individual chocolates or cake pops to swap with other women. You will leave with your very own box of chocolates. Please sign up in the breezeway by Jan 30th. SMCC Squirrel Rodeo: An event for Hunters! Saturday, February 5 starting at day break all Hunters are welcome to hunt squirrels. Bring your harvest to the SMCC Shelter by 3:00 pm and enjoy a meal and fellowship with your brothers in Christ.
Night To Shine: Save the date for Saturday, February 12. We will host our annual Night to Shine event and we need volunteers. Sign up sheet on bulletin board. We will have a drive-thru event from 12—1:30 pm. We will split into groups and go to their homes from 2—4 pm.
Winter Jam: Saturday, February 26, Winter Jam will be at Greensboro. Anyone is invited to go. See the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. The cost is $10 per person. Meet at the church by 2 pm. See Josue for more information.
Wild Game Supper: Join us for the annual Wild Game Supper Saturday, March 5th starting at 5 pm. The men of the church will do all the cooking. Ladies, please bring a dessert to share. See Mike Hall or Tim Wood if you have any questions.
Men’s Ignite Weekend: A conference just for men! The conference will be March 11—12, 2022. This will be a weekend of men coming together to worship God and learn more about the life of true adventure He intends for you. The cost is $59 per person. The cost for Military, Seniors, and ages under 16 will be $49 per person. Sign up sheet on bulletin board. The deadline to sign up and pay is February 20th. See Tim Wood for more details.
Extraordinary Women Conference: This conference will be October 7—9, 2022 at Lynchburg, VA. This will be a weekend full of guest speakers, concerts, and fellowship. Pick-up a brochure and see Sandy Wood or Amber Jones for more information. The cost is 275.00 per person with a 65.00 non-refundable deposit to register. The registration deadline is January 30th.

Church Hymnals: We are giving away hymnals to church members and active attenders. There is a limit to only 1 per household. Pick up a hymnal today after the morning gathering.
