Mid-Week Gathering: The Wednesday night gathering will be in the Main Auditorium at 7:00 pm.
Elder Meeting: Sunday, April 18 at 3 pm.
Deacon Meeting: Monday, April 19 at 6:30 pm.
Board Meeting: Monday, April 19 at 7 pm.
Royal Ambassadors BBQ: The men of the Royal Ambassadors class will be selling BBQ plates Saturday, May 1st from 11:00 am —3:00 pm in the front church parking lot. The BBQ plates will include a BBQ sandwich, chips, and a drink for $7.00. All proceeds raised will be divided between the church, benevolence fund (to help those who are in need), and the Royal Ambassadors class.
Graduation Sunday: If you are a member or attend SMCC on a regular basis & are graduating from high school or college, contact Pam Mabry. We will honor our graduates Sunday, May 16th during the morning gathering. Please send a picture of the graduate to Pam Mabry by Sunday, May 2nd.
Ladies Banquet: All ladies are invited for a banquet Friday, May 7 at 6 pm. This will be held in the Main Fellowship Hall and the men will serve a meal. To attend the banquet, you will need to pre-register. You can pre -register by filling out the connection card or through the SMCC app. All registrations must be turned in by Sunday, May 2nd.
VBS: June 1—5 at 6:00—8:30 pm. If you would like to help with VBS, please see Pam Mabry to sign up. We need volunteers for in all areas for this event. Press Play is the theme for VBS.

Grace Network Donation: Cereal (12—18 oz) For April—June
Peggy Johnson Scholarship: High School Seniors that go to Bassett High School can pick up the application at Bassett High. See Ms. Bryant at the school for more information.
Sympathy Note: Our heartfelt and deepest sympathies goes to Margaret Hill and family in the passing of her Mother.
Do you like to make memories? Starting Sunday, May 2 you will be able to take photos with your family and friends. The front foyer will be the designated area for photos during the upcoming holidays and on special occasions.
YOUTH UPCOMING EVENTS:
Youth Trip: A youth will go to Concord Mills/Charlotte for a day of fun Saturday, May 1. This trip is for middle and high school.
Camp Pitt: Online registration is now open for camp. Please note that you have to go through the online registration for your child to attend camp. See Pam Mabry if you have any questions.
VBS: June 1 – 4 from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. Saturday, June 5 there will be a Closing Party at 12 noon. More information coming soon.
